One of our Financial Services clients require a Team Leader / Supervisor who has worked in an Accounts department and previously managed people. (An Accountant is not required).

Duties Include:

• Carrying out Bank Reconciliations on a daily basis
• Invoicing
• Chasing pension debtors
• Handling Capital Liquidity
• Dealing with calculated investment calcs
• Managing Pension Scheme Accounts
• Managing a team of 4/5 Administrators

Skills:

• The ideal candidate must have Financial Services regulatory experience
• Pension administration experience is desirable

Working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm with one hour for lunch.

One of our Financial Services clients requires a Complaints Administrator to manage a variety of complaints from customers, whilst ensuring they are commercially aware at all times.

This is a fixed term contract until the end of June 2025.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving inbound queries and complaints from customers and responding in a timely and appropriate manner.

• Acknowledging complaints within regulatory deadlines, completing and maintaining logs of all complaint registers.

• Completing complaint investigations thoroughly; researching databases, files, records and meeting with relevant staff in order to produce a detailed report of the events and actions leading up to the complaint.

• Liaising with customers and writing comprehensive decision letters to customers or their representatives.

• Liaising with other bodies such as the Financial Ombudsman, Legal Firms or Claims Management Companies in handling complaints as required.

• Making fair and reasonable judgements about complaint outcomes in a timely manner and in line with TCF principles.

• Liaising with department managers in reference to any concerns, providing feedback and tracking resolution.

• Work with the Risk & Compliance team to ensure the firm’s systems and controls are robust.

Knowledge and Skills

• Previous experience of working in a complaint handling role is essential.

• Experience of working in a Financial Services environment is preferable.

• Demonstrates commitment to the fair treatment of customers.

• Strong communication skills.

• Excellent organisation, influencing and relationship building skills.

• Strong analytical and investigation skills.

Working 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday either 9am - 5pm or 8am - 4pm with 1 hour for lunch.

Our Milton Keynes based client is looking to recruit a Pension Administrator to work within their SIPP team (Self Invested Personal Pensions).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The role holder will work as part of the administration team and fulfil a specific administration role which will be task oriented, carrying out clearly defined activities.

• Responsible for their individual performance targets as well as contribution to team targets.
• Ensure that their customers are treated fairly and receive a consistent service in line with the Company’s TCF policy.
• Take responsibility for individual tasks involved within the lifecycle of a SIPP, and action them within the required timescales.
• Maintain and develop good business relationships with internal and external customers.
• Ensure all clients / connections receive regular and effective communication which is professional and delivered to the highest standards.
• Ensure all requests and work received from clients and IFAs are processed in line with laid down procedures, within regulatory time frames and meet company service levels.
• Report any breaches or complaints immediately to the Client Services Supervisor.
• Ensure invoicing is up to date for all schemes and ensure all fees are collected in a timely manner.
• Work in conjunction with the team to ensure all work is carried out to the highest quality, and within the service levels laid down.
• Contribute positively to team meetings, ensuring a positive attitude at all times.

KEY SKILLS

Minimum of 1-2 years general administration experience (financial background desirable)

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Excel.
• Good organisation skills and able to prioritise.
• Numerate.
• Good communication skills both written & verbal.
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum grades A-C in GCSE Maths & English or equivalent.

Hours of work 9am - 5pm or 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch.
